Maybe the title of this article should be “Small School Fraternity Hits the Big Time with Social Media.” It surely describes the viral video made by the guys at Transylvania University’s Delta Sigma Phi.
The Delta Sig brothers produced and posted a rendition of Taylor Swift’s song, “Shake it Off”, Taylor tweeted about it, and the rest, as they say, is history.
She liked the Delta Sig’s video so much that she invited the whole fraternity, and their dates, to come to one of her shows!
I'm personally inviting all of these guys (and a date!) to a show on tour next year, it's on me. Nailed it, bros!

Nearly 11,000 retweets, 18,000 favorites, and 2.3 million views later, these guys have found lightning in a bottle. Those numbers don’t even include the dozens of major news sites that have reported the story.
Well done guys!
This kind of stuff leaves me shaking my head. It’s amazing how well Taylor Swift and her team understand the power of social media.
