* News Discussion: So this week there’s a HUGE conference going on up in Boston called INBOUND 2013. There were something like 5,000 marketers up in Boston and it was a veritable whose who of marketing and there’s been a ton of information in the stream : #INBOUND13
Even though I couldn’t make it this year, I’ve been able to network with a ton of people via twitter. The keynote speaker was Seth Godin. Have you ever read some of his stuff? The dude’s a friggin genius. There are a lot of smart people in social media (a whole lot of dumb ones out there too…) but Seth brings it every time he speaks and we talked today about some of his these Godinsms.

*The Redemption Period…here’s a quick look at the Twitter page for Checkers. We couldn’t believe it when we saw it…but it’s true!
*Our special guest today was Nick Friedman from College Hunks Hauling Junk. They were featured on AMC’s The Pitch. Right after the show, they flipped the ad world upside down by flipping the script and changing from the winning agency to the losing agency. Listen as Nick tells us what happened and why.
After you listen to the show, check out Nick’s appearance on the Shark Tank where he boldly turned down and investment from the sharks and told one of the sharks to pipe down! Also, please check out Nick’s book on Amazon.
* Instagram on The Radio?: we featured a cool video use of Instagram that we saw on the CMAFest broadcast. I really liked the social tv integration with this.
That’s our show for today. We hoped you enjoyed it. Please share the love if you did and Tweet this out to your followers. See you soon!
